Andreas Seiferth

Andreas Seiferth looks back on almost 15 years in professional basketball, during which he played more than 330 games in the Bundesliga and over 50 games for the German national team. At the same time, he completed a master’s degree in sports economics and was part of the coaching team at the REACH EUREGIO Start-Up Center until summer 2023, where he competed for the WWU Baskets in the ProA in the 2nd Bundesliga on the side. Today, the Berlin native provides insights into the performance society of professional basketball and takes a critical look at the role of athletes in this system and the role of sustainability of professional athletes.
